Quick Answer
The Fabric F-Word Magnet Pack is not just for the fridge—use it to label bins, mark project steps, or add a playful touch to your sewing space. Just keep it away from heat and moisture to preserve the vibrant finish.
Why Go Beyond the Fridge?
Most magnets end up on the fridge, but the Fabric F-Word Magnet Pack is designed for makers. Its durable, vibrant surface fits right into a craft room, sewing nook, or even a workshop. Using it in these spaces keeps your reminders and inspiration where you actually work.
The 2x2 inch size is compact enough to stick on metal shelving, tool boxes, or magnetic boards without taking over the space. It adds a bit of personality to functional areas, making your workspace feel more like your own.
Trade-Offs and Limitations
While the magnet is sturdy, it is not waterproof. Avoid placing it where it might get splashed or exposed to high humidity, like near a sink or in a damp basement. Also, the magnet's strength is best for flat metal surfaces; textured or painted surfaces may reduce its hold.
If you need a magnet for heavy-duty holding, this pack may not be the right choice. It's meant for light organizational tasks, not for securing tools or equipment.
Diagnosing Your Magnet Problem
- Symptom: Your magnet doesn't stick well or falls off the surface. Check if the surface is clean and flat; dust or texture can reduce grip.
- Likely Cause: The surface may be dirty, painted, or textured, or the magnet may be placed on a non-metal area. Test on a clean, bare metal surface to confirm the magnet works.
- Corrective Action: Wipe the surface and the magnet with a dry cloth, then reposition. If it still doesn't hold, try a different metal surface or consider a stronger magnet for heavy tasks. For heavy-duty needs, stop using this magnet and choose a stronger alternative.
